Amy Gatus

Amy Gatus received her Master of Science in Multidisciplinary Studies and Certificate in Educational Leadership from the State University of New York.  After pursuing Bachelor of Music major in Piano for four and a half years at the University of the Philippines, Conservatory of Music, Amy transferred to the Faculty of Education and obtained a Bachelor of Education degree major in Music. She received her Orff training from the Orff Institute, Universitat Mozarteum, in Salzburg, Austria.

Amy Gatus started her piano teaching career at the age of sixteen and served as a church pianist at the age of fourteen.

Her favorite quote is, “The aim and final end of all music should be none other than the glory of God and the refreshment of the soul.” This has always been her guiding principle in the pursuit of excellence in her career as a music specialist.
